The professional registered nurse (RN) assumes responsibility for the nursing care provided to a selected number of patients. Consideration is given to the patient’s stage of development according to the life cycle. Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (Baccalaureate Degree in nursing preferred )
- Must complete annual mandatory in-service education (Hospital/Nursing)
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Clinical experience/skills relevant to the assigned area of practice
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency

- Certifications required for assigned area of practice:
- BLS - reputed company
- PALS - F4 & Wantagh
- Certification reputed company to specialty area preferred

- Frequent, prolonged standing/walking
- Lifts, positions and/or transfers patients/equipment
