The intern will be embedded on our colleges desk, which will expose the intern to every facet of the newsroom. • Provide coverage of a college football team during the season, inclusive of news, features and game stories.
• Attend brainstorming sessions and pitch reputed company to the editor and colleagues.

• Multitask across multiple story endeavors and prioritize accordingly.
• Write quick news stories and provide analysis for a variety of platforms.
• Work collaboratively with other reporters.

Requirements

• Undergraduate and graduate reputed company are welcome to apply; undergraduate juniors and seniors preferred. Ability to work a 30-40 hour work week.
• Previous newsroom internship experience is a plus.
• Flexibility: ability to adapt to fast-paced work environments where needs and priorities can change quickly.
• Deep knowledge of and a passion for sports.
