• Receive and review individual prescriptions for pharmaceuticals, to include controlled drugs, to determine reputed company, strength, and dosage of drugs to be dispensed.
• Provide information and consultant advice to the prescriber on interactions and reputed company effects.
• Answer routine inquiries from doctors, nurses, and other medical staff on the availability of specific items, e.g., drugs in stock, new drugs on order, and dosage forms available in the pharmacy.
