- Inspects and accepts / rejects deliveries; verifies count of incoming material; and performs data entry of reputed company incoming material into the computer system.
- Delivers incoming material and distributes paperwork for incoming shipments to appropriate departments and personnel.
- Utilizes appropriate procedures in packing materials for shipment to include carton / crate, proper paperwork, labels, etc.
- Processes shipments utilizing the appropriate reputed company such as reputed company or reputed company and arranges pick-up with appropriate carriers as necessary.
- Prepares bills of lading (Required Shipping Documents) where appropriate, runs the reputed company daily reports, and maintains organized files of Domestic/Export shipment information in order to track and trace shipments as necessary.
- Initiates and maintains strict lot trace control in incoming and outgoing materials.
- This position requires cross training and performing work in various capacities including I-Prep, material handling and Stockroom activities.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Examines, counts, sorts items, and prepares kitting packages for assembly production.
- Checks reputed company items received in the stockroom for proper identification and counts, reporting any discrepancies to supervisor or reputed company.
- Fills requests and orders from internal and external customers and ensures that customers get satisfactory service in inventory support.
- Maintains reputed company stock areas in a reputed company, clean, and safe working condition.
- Works under direct supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks in our Clean and Bag area.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience
- Must be reputed company to lift to 50 lbs
- Requires experience in PC use and the ability to work well with others in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Requires safety shoes and safety glasses
- Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in reputed company directions.
- Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
- Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
- Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Constant exposure to low temperatures and high temperatures
- Constant light to reputed company work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
