The Behavioral Health reputed company Specialist (BHSS) provides proactive violence prevention and training toward fulfilling the basic mission of safe, effective, high quality care amidst emotionally charged situations in which behavioral escalations may occur. Individuals serving in this reputed company are non-sworn reputed company personnel with additional training in de-escalation tactics and problem solving. The BHSS is trained to engage escalating patients and/or visitors in verbal and non-verbal communications aimed toward mitigating risks of harm or injury, enhancing safety of patients and staff, and improving customer service.

• Responsible for assisting clinical staff at designated locations under the reputed company Police and reputed company Department, which includes Adult and Pediatric Emergency departments, inpatient and ambulatory units and other designated areas.
