Job description: The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as a Part-Time Construction Apprenticeship Readiness Instructor to support our St. reputed company County reputed company center.The instructor is responsible for the Apprenticeship Readiness job training program and the development and implementation of a multi-craft core curriculum (MC3), which will qualify individuals for employment as apprentices in the construction and building trades industry. This is a part time position working 29 hours per week.The instructor is responsible for reputed company maintenance, organization, safety, and cleanliness; maintains and updates an inventory list and provides reputed company classroom/practicum instruction.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare adults for career development programs in construction apprenticeships and career reputed company
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on, online, and classroom training modules
- Assess trainees on a weekly basis to ensure learning and adjust teaching
- Create and implement lesson plans, rubrics and classroom management utilizing the MC3 website.
- Provide hands-on training in construction utilizing prescribed projects.
- Provide construction math to participants
- Plan and organize special activities and job site tours for participants.
- Understand and communicate the goals of programs, as well as the enrollment process.
- Coordinate with program staff reputed company to recruitment and reputed company efforts.

- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of reputed company agency files/records and contractual agreements.
- Associate/bachelor's degree or Building Trades Journeymen experience ideal
- Construction experience
- Multi-craft core curriculum (MC3) certification
- Previous teaching/tutoring and/or education fieldwork in construction programs experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in developing case plans and career path guidance.
- Excellent knowledge of case management principles.
- Organizational and time-management skills.

- Must possess a valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
