Beyond the classroom, the candidate will engage in service to the department, college, and university, as well as professional development.The position is a full-time, open rank, non-tenure track, renewable appointment located in Arlington, VA.Responsibilities:This full-time faculty member is expected to bring her/his intellectual and creative reputed company to bear in advancement of the program, seeking to serve reputed company by participating in a range of teaching and non-teaching activities that support the advancement of the program. S/he will teach a full teaching load spread throughout the year and will work with the program office on administrative issues and programmatic projects.Teaching & Curricular reputed company (approximately 70% of time)

• Teach core courses, such as Introduction to Analytics, Probability and Statistics, Data Communication and Visualization, as well as concentration courses in the areas of Applied Artificial Intelligence, Evidence Based Management, and Statistical Modeling.
• In conjunction with the Program reputed company, reputed company and implement course learning outcomes, curriculum maps, resource guides, textbooks, syllabi templates, and updated course materials; includes reputed company-specific coursework as desired.

• Student Recruitment and Program Representation​

• Recruit and vet qualified candidates for part-time faculty positions, coordinate with Program reputed company for secondary interviews and to complete the hiring process with HR. ​

Service & Professional Development (approximately 10% of time)

• Create and present professional development opportunities for full and part-time faculty in the unit and College.
• Serve on committees that support the mission of the program and the vision of the College and wider University.
• Promote the discovery and dissemination of knowledge through scholarship, research, creative activity, and professional development.

• A terminal degree from an accredited institution in computer science, statistics, analytics, data science, or a reputed company field by the start of the appointment date.

• 3+ years of professional experience in advanced analytics or data science and familiarity with commonly used tools and techniques in analytics (R, python, Tableau, Spark, SQL, etc.).

• Knowledge about how to manage, analyze, communicate, visualize, and reputed company with artificial intelligence is a plus.

• Experience teaching at the graduate level and innovative use of technology in support of assessment and learning

• Excellent written and oral communication, specifically with the ability to communicate technical concepts to novices and non-technical stakeholders.
