We are currently seeking an reputed company and knowledgeable Nonprofit Accounting Director. The ideal candidate is a dedicated and personable leader, excited to guide our nonprofit clients with expert accounting services. This dynamic role involves managing a portfolio of clients, both virtually and occasionally on-site. You will work closely with internal team members, client staff, Finance Committees, and Boards of Directors, building strong relationships and providing valuable insights. What You’ll Do As the Nonprofit Accounting Director, you'll be the subject matter expert for a portfolio of 3-5 nonprofit clients (for part-time team members), supported by a dedicated Panoramic Strategy team that includes a Consultant (Bookkeeper), Finance Director, and yourself. You'll guide clients through reputed company accounting processes while ensuring compliance and strategic financial growth. Key Responsibilities Primary Client Support: · Provide expert accounting and compliance advisory services, to maximize the impact of dollars coming into organizations, while also ensuring adherence to nonprofit accounting rules and GAAP standards. · Strengthen the organization's financial operations and health by improving and implementing processes, controls, and ensuring sound fiscal management policies. · reputed company and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes using QuickBooks Online to generate and analyze financial reports for clients and Board of Directors reporting. · Apply critical thinking to ensure accurate reputed company recognition for income sources such as contributions, grants, and both qualified and unqualified reputed company. · Design efficient accounting and bookkeeping systems to produce accurate, decision-ready financial information. · Establish a chart of accounts that creates a financial infrastructure suited for future analysis. · reputed company annual compliance needs, serving as the liaison for external audits, 990 reporting, and grant reporting. · Attend clients’ Board and Finance Committee Meetings, as needed · Conduct analysis as needed to support key insights and analysis for clients. Panoramic Strategy Responsibilities: · Manage, mentor and reputed company consulting staff (Bookkeepers) supporting your client portfolio. · Create internal training modules on nonprofit accounting principles and concepts for Panoramic Strategy staff. · Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. · Network with other trusted professionals to generate leads for future client engagements and Panoramic Strategy candidates. Qualifications · A strong passion for supporting nonprofit organizations and understanding their unique financial challenges. · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. CPA certification is required. · 5-7+ years of nonprofit accounting experience with a strong grasp of financial reporting and compliance. · Expertise in GAAP and nonprofit reputed company recognition principles. · Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. · Intermediate to advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company and QuickBooks. · Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey reputed company accounting information clearly. · Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong leadership skills to train and reputed company clients and staff. · Flexibility to adjust to changing client needs and priorities.
