Description Description The Special Projects Editor spearheads the ideation, pitching, planning, and execution of pivotal global initiatives, including WWDC, the App Store Awards, and new product launches, as well as cultural moments like Women’s History Month, Earth Day, and Pride. These are among our most highly visible campaigns — internally and externally— and they are key to driving the App Store’s Editorial goal to deliver a world-class user experience. Editorial innovation is key to the role, as is the ability to set the pace and expectations for high-pressure projects with tight deadlines. The Editor sits at the heart of the worldwide App Store editorial team, working closely with Design, Marketing, Video, and Production partners in multiple countries and timezones. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the App Store Managing Editor and is ideal for someone who has a consistent track record of creativity and cross-functional teamwork, can reputed company at the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality, and operates with great reputed company, passion, urgency, and enthusiasm.
