Data Entry Technician I, II or III

Overview

Enters data into computer or database system with accuracy and efficiency. Reviews discrepancies in data received, requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues reputed company to data. Performs data verification routines in accordance with established procedures and deadlines to verify accuracy of entered data. Produces reports and printouts as needed...

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT High school diploma or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT One (1) year of data entry experience is required. DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN II EDUCATION REQUIREMENT One year certificate from college or technical school; or one and one-half years reputed company experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT Two (2) years of data entry experience is required. DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN III EDUCATION REQUIREMENT One year certificate from college or technical school; or one and one-half years reputed company experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT Two (3) years of data entry experience is required. COMPUTER SKILLS To reputed company this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Food Distribution Employees Only. Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for reputed company reputed company rating. Driver's license required reputed company travel from one location to another in the course of performing the duties of this job specified by the department. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Completion of a data entry course is preferred. Completion of medical terminology and/or ICD-9 Coding preferred as specified by hiring department. Must have the ability to operate a computer and other general office equipment.
