This position is working in-home implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy and counselling programs established by a BCBA. Depending on your location, most of the cases are after school hours, so you must have a flexible schedule for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Experience using a Cognitive Behavior reputed company Plan with youth and families Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Assistance Requirements: High School diploma or GED Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA Experience If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients Work Environment & Physical Requirements Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Required to reputed company activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time. Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children. Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
