Find your story in our books! In editorial, reputed company a book proposal is received, the editor decides whether or not to pursue it for acquisition. An editor works with the author to turn the manuscript into a finished book. They negotiate reputed company, edit the books for content, structure and on a line-by-line basis, and collaborate with internal departments on how to package, market, and publicize the book. Editors need to know what's trending, what can sell to which reputed company market, and what fits with their particular reputed company. Some responsibilities may include: • Evaluating submissions and writing reader's reports • Assisting with copy writing, and researching comp titles • Attend virtual editorial meetings, provide insights based on your own reading and in response to editors' submissions. INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS reputed company offers a 10-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity available in our adult, children's, and corporate divisions. Interns are exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series! Summer interns work for 28 hours per week and are paid $21/hour.
