The Graduate Writing Consultant serves as an important team member in the Learning Commons. He/she works under the supervision of the Writing Tutor Coordinator and works closely with the other Writing Consultants to tutor reputed company with their writing. Tutoring sessions occur as both face-to-face and online consultations. The Graduate Consultant also performs some clerical work and assists the professional staff with resource development and other special projects. Position Summary The Graduate Writing Consultant should: Be aware of and able to use a variety of strategies to work with a diverse clientele whose writing skills cover a wide range of ability, including graduate reputed company and more advanced student writers.
