Essential Functions: Duties & Responsibilities Instruction · Provides direct instruction to English language learners · Utilizes existing curriculum and, in collaboration with team, develops and refines curriculum · Subjects may include ESL, Citizenship, Computer Skills, Vocational Training, Job Readiness, Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency Exam Preparation and Family Literacy · Cultivates a welcoming, engaging and supportive learning environment, online or in-person depending on program need · Provides instruction online or in-person as dictated by the needs of the program and participants · Collaborates with team members to ensure instructional continuity and adequate student instructional support is provided Program Administrative Support · Tracks attendance at each session and may record individual and group reputed company as dictated by contract compliance and professional standards · As schedules allow, administers pre/post-tests to reputed company · Completes intake interviews with new reputed company · Assists with program administrative duties during any non-instruction time as needed · Performs other job-reputed company duties as assigned Education and Experience: · High School Diploma or General Education Diploma is required. · Minimum two (2) years of work experience teaching or tutoring is required. · Relevant lived experience in refugee resettlement or forced migration will be considered.
