Job title: Student Services Specialist Company: University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Job description : Position Information Recruitment Number 1404 Number of Vacancies 1 Working Title Student Services Specialist Classification Title Learning Center Specialist Proposed Salary to be Offered 30,294 Appointment Percentage (Budget) 67.7% (10 months, 32.5 hours per week, 44 weeks) Position Summary The SSS Student Services Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Student Support Services (SSS) to support the development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of SSS programming and initiatives. This position assists in evaluating program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement. This position also provides support for the supervision, coordination, and support of the SSS program's reputed company. That includes helping to coordinate reputed company tutor hiring, training, evaluation and supervision. In addition, the SSS Student Services Coordinator provides writing skills assessments for reputed company, writing instruction, and writing tutoring to SSS participants both individually and in small group settings. This position will be working 32.5 hours per week on a 10-month, annual contract. There will be 2 months over the calendar year that the employee will not be actively engaged in work.
