Adaptec Solutions is a full-service provider of automation and material handling solutions with lifecycle service capabilities for distribution/warehousing and manufacturing customers in the U.S. JOB SUMMARY... Prepares detailed proposals for large capital projects and installations. After order receipt, manages project scope including purchase of capital equipment, project schedules and coordination of resources to complete project on time and reputed company budget. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Review project specifications and prepare detailed project costing • reputed company detailed proposals based on project scope and submit to customer requirements • Determine key variables for cost and other estimates • Conduct site visits prior to proposal bids to understand project scope and site challenges • Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc. • Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting • Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors • reputed company risk analysis • Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.) • Provide consultation on planning (schedules, reputed company needs etc.) • In conjunction with site reputed company, reputed company detailed project schedule and requirements to manage project scope, cost and time schedule to customer requirements • Travel to customer sites up to 20%. Qualification Requirements: To reputed company this job successfully, an individual must be reputed company to reputed company each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • BSc/BA in engineering, construction science or relevant discipline • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) will be an asset • Minimum of five years proven experience as estimator or similar position SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS NECESSARY TO reputed company THE JOB: • Familiarity with financial and project management principles. • In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas. • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities. • Excellent numerical skills and an analytical reputed company. • Must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000.
