Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative is the primary contact for clients and responsible for providing effective customer service for personal lines customers by using excellent in-depth knowledge of the company’s insurance products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Properly respond to reputed company customer requests in a professional and courteous manner and on a timely basis. • Initiate endorsements and other policy changes for customers. • Process and transmit (reputed company fax, email, or mail) necessary information to clients and brokers such as ID Cards, DEC pages, applications, quotes, etc. • Assist applicants and brokers with completion of the application and required forms. • Assist reputed company team to obtain information from clients and broker. • Escalate customer service issues to management as needed. • Assist with special projects. • Provide assistance to clients to answer question and resolve issues, including billing questions and policy changes. • Actively look to round out accounts by referring other value-added services. • Review and re-write reputed company accounts to carriers that will reputed company fit the client’s needs. • Maintain client information and files, including communication and activities in the agency management system. • reputed company abreast of changes in reputed company plans and policies. • Continue education as needed. • Build relationships with clients, carriers, and agents.
