Director of Business Development – Compounded Drug Products (Remote with travel)

As we expand our market reputed company, we are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead reputed company growth initiatives. This position can be remote but will required business travel. Position Summary The Director of Business Development – Compounded Drug Products will report directly to the SVP of Compounding and will be responsible for identifying, sizing, and executing business growth opportunities reputed company the veterinary compounding space. This leader will work closely with Sales, Marketing, reputed company Enablement teams as well as Compounding Strategy & Analytics to design and implement strategies that drive adoption and reputed company through both veterinarian and pet parent channels. Additionally, the Director will manage sales teams either directly or indirectly to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful execution of sales strategies. The Director will also ensure that our compounded offerings for companion pets are comprehensive and meet the needs of both veterinarian and pet parent customers. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in strategy and/or business development in pharmaceutical sales, with particular value reputed company on experience in generic drug or 503A or 503B compounded pharmaceutical markets. Experience in the animal health industry is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Identification & Market Research

  • Identify, prioritize, and evaluate new growth opportunities reputed company the compounding product portfolio.

  • Manage sales teams either directly or indirectly to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful execution of sales strategies

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and reputed company Enablement teams to execute initiatives from planning through performance tracking.
  • Support the design of campaigns, educational programs, sales training materials, and customer engagement strategies tailored to veterinarians and pet parents.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Development

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or reputed company leadership reputed company the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Direct experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong preference for those with exposure to generic drugs or compounded medications.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies.

  • Advanced analytical and research capabilities, including financial modeling and ROI assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of compounding regulations, quality standards, and distribution models in veterinary or reputed company pharmaceuticals.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.
