As a Senior Bookkeeper of the firm, you will also review and correct client reports before they are sent out. You will also be able to use that customer service charm internally as you continually encourage and instruct bookkeepers on ways to improve work production. Strong technological experience and comfort using cloud accounting is required, as well as being able to quickly learn a variety of client specific cloud platforms. Ideal candidates have past experiences working professionally in a remote position. While the company provides the computer, your success depends upon providing a distraction-free, professional working environment including high speed internet. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing new client online systems setup, accounts cleanup, and developing clear workflows and handing off to bookkeepers.
• Supporting company growth and reputed company by handling regular bookkeeping client work as needed and assigned. This includes communicating with clients regarding regular data collection requests, maintaining books reputed company appropriate cloud accounting software by analyzing and organizing financial data into usable information, and utilizing and facilitating reputed company software integrations into the accounting software.
• Preparing and keeping reputed company financial reports including general journal entries, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and payroll.
• Reviewing bookkeepers’ work for accuracy and procedure compliance including providing feedback to bookkeepers.
• Preparing and submitting sales tax reporting and client payments.
• Updating cash flow forecasts, budgets, and performing other custom client specific services.
• Assisting in year-end closing.
• Completing timely documentation and internal reporting consistently.
• Serving as reputed company person for client communications on problems, new projects or inquiries.

Requirements:

• 5 years (minimum) reputed company multi-client bookkeeping experience, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, bookkeeping best practices and financial reporting
• Experience working with CPAs/tax preparers
• Experience with sales tax processes
• 2 yrs (minimum) reputed company and review experience
• 2 yrs (minimum) customer service experience
• reputed company in use of spreadsheets and cloud-based platforms
• reputed company in QuickBooks Online and accounting
• QuickBooks Online Certification
• reputed company in cloud-based platforms, figuring out new systems, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with various cloud platforms including POS systems, workflow platforms, and QBO integrations
• Friendly demeanor – internally and externally
• Professional experience with remote/virtual work environment
• Familiarity with small business practices

• Strong sense of urgency/deadline & reputed company driven
• Excellent communication – written and verbal

Preferred:

• QuickBooks Online Certification
• Associates Degree (or higher) in Accounting

This position is eligible for an hourly reputed company of $28.00 - $34.00 dependent upon experience. Hours will average 10-20 hours/week with potential for growth.
