As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our backend architecture, scaling our systems, and driving high-impact engineering and product initiatives. You'll work cross-functionally to influence technical direction and mentor engineers, helping us build a world-class engineering team.

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience ideally in data engineering domains. Ideally 2+ years experience in data intensive systems and exposure to crypto strongly preferred.

• Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and performance optimization.

• Deep knowledge of backend technologies, including databases, orchestrators, messaging systems, data pipelines, and more.

• Track record of technical leadership, leading reputed company projects, mentoring engineers, and setting engineering standards.

• Experience with large-scale data ingestion and processing systems. Has built/ owned ETL pipelines or data ingestion flows (eg: with Kafka, Spark etc). Understands data modeling and is comfortable with large data sets, thinks about cost/performance tradeoffs

• Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity.

The starting salary for this position is between $210,000 - $240,000. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-reputed company factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in reputed company and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
