This role is ideal for someone beginning their career in software testing who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the development of mission-critical applications. You will be part of a fast-paced Agile team working closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure high-quality software delivery. This is a hands-on role that focuses on reputed company testing, writing and executing test cases, documenting defects, and validating features before deployment. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of reputed company test cases based on user stories and feature specifications
- reputed company functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web and mobile applications
- Log defects clearly using tools such as Jira and collaborate with developers on issue resolution
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and participate in validation during field deployments
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-reputed company, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
- Learn and apply testing best practices in a team-focused environment
Qualifications
- 0–1 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or reputed company field (internship or academic project experience acceptable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or a reputed company field is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with reputed company Office and willingness to learn tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative Agile team
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD reputed company clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with basic database queries or concepts (e.g., SQL)
- Experience or coursework in software development or QA principles
- Knowledge of web or mobile application testing
- Interest in supporting defense, DoD, or RFID-reputed company technologies
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or reputed company+ are a plus
