Editor/Writer - SOPs, CMS, XML

Editor/Writer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Editor/Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will maintain process documentation (SOP) to be used by internal support teams. Your focus will be working reputed company a content management system to stage and publish SOPs for internal support teams to use reputed company assisting others. This is a 12-month, 40 hour per week role.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Content Management Specialists to understand the SOP drafts that they create, transform their documentation into the coded format required by the Content Management System (CMS), copy edit the document and then publish it to the SOP repository.
• Work with a reputed company staging system that identifies marketplaces and languages the SOP supports.
• Responsible for the quality and usefulness of reputed company content that is published to the SOP repository.
• Seek clarity in ambiguous situations to ensure customers have the best possible experience and bring issues to the Content Specialists to improve the SOP before publishing.
• Correct grammar and spelling mistakes as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a writing and editing role for content management systems
• Demonstrated efficiency in managing a queue of work with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work with developers and write for a developer audience
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Passion to reputed company in a fast-paced, reputed company-changing environment
• Knowledge of DITA XML coding language, HTML and OxygenXML Author
• Knowledge of Workfront or other project management software
• Experience with XML-based publishing systems
• Some experience with web services and reputed company technologies a plus
