The Role As an Enrollment Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping students begin their journey to graduation. Working remotely as part of our Enrollment Marketing and Communications Team, you will guide prospective students through the application and enrollment process with empathy, clarity, and efficiency. This temporary full-time position is instrumental in helping Acceleration Academies meet student enrollment growth objectives nationwide. This is a temporary role from August to October

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment

  • Conduct outbound calling campaigns to recruit potential applicants
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to students and families throughout the enrollment journey
  • Support prospective students by answering questions and guiding them through application tasks
  • Track and maintain accurate records of all outreach and communications
  • Meet assigned enrollment goals and activity metrics

Retention

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from enrollment to onboarding
  • Support strong initial engagement to help students begin successfully

Advocacy

  • Represent Acceleration Academies with professionalism and enthusiasm during student interactions
  • Promote the value of our mission and personalized learning model to families and communities
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the enrollment team’s objectives

What We’re Looking For Experience: 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing, call centers, or similar enrollment roles Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and time management skills Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting students who have disengaged from traditional schooling and a drive to help them succeed. Language: Bilingual Spanish-English preferred Technology: Technology: Experience with CRM or telemarketing software (e.g., Hubspot, Five9) preferred Compliance: Must pass state and federal background checks Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in education, student services, or youth engagement Familiarity with enrollment software and high-volume calling environments Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment Passion for working with opportunity youth or non-traditional learners Why Join Us?
