Staff Subcontract Administrator – Remote Work Available

What you’ll do as a Staff Subcontracts Administrator

  • Deliver reputed company-to-Grave subcontract support from solicitation through subcontract closeout
  • Collaborate with Subcontracts teammates and Program Managers (PM’s) to identify and define subcontracting requirements, provide guidance concerning the required subcontract type (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.), and completion of reputed company required backup documents to initiate and execute subcontract actions
  • Ensure that the subcontract is consistent with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations
  • Assist the Senior Subcontract Administrators in providing training to PM’s and Division Administrators on subcontract requirements as needed
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination
  • Stay up to date on subcontracting standards, legislation, plans and policies
  • Build positive relationships with division partners and subcontractors by maintaining excellent internal and external customer service standards
  • Provide support and/or requests for information to co-workers, subcontractors, and auditors
  • Interact daily with internal and external customers

Staff Subcontracts Administrator Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience working in a reputed company-to-grave federal subcontracting environment, beginning with the solicitation phase and ending with subcontract closeouts
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in FAR/DFAR requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in negotiation and development of subcontracts
  • Experience with government subcontract file documentation including CPSR requirements for federal acquisitions
  • Experience in a high-volume subcontract administration environment
  • Experience with various contract types including CPFF, FFP, T&M, and CR
  • Ability to create and edit files in reputed company Word, reputed company Acrobat, reputed company to create and edit documents

Staff Subcontracts Administrator Preferences

  • SharePoint experience
  • Experience using reputed company and/or CostPoint

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
    • 3-5 years of reputed company experience with a Bachelor’s degree
    • 1-3 years of reputed company experience with a Master’s degree
    • 6 years minimum of reputed company experience in lieu of a degree
