Requirements

• Plans, configures, tests server hardware, software, local area network and wide area networks.
• Installs, configures and upgrades servers in line with policy and system requirements.
• Ensures that application software is available to users.
• Tests, installs, configures and upgrades new and existing application software.
• Recommends the changes to the system, including the application software requirements for such changes.
• Works closely with the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure that the system is updated with the most recent version of the application software available.
• Creates new users and configures and reset password.
• Develops policies that govern user accounts.
• Verifies details of status changes in line with reputed company breaches and identity statuses.
• Ensures the back-up of important files to reputed company system restoration and minimal disruption in the event of a hardware, reputed company or administration failure.
• Assists with the development and implementation of a back-up and recovery policy.
• Assists with the development and implementation of the disaster recovery plan.
• Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoots system hardware and software by identifying problems and potential solutions.
• Performs routine network start up and shut down procedures to maintain system performance.
• Runs system load or stress testing and reputed company required escalates application problems to the relevant stakeholders.
• Uses the relevant system performance tools to determine reputed company hardware should be upgraded.
• Implements network reputed company measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Performs any other reputed company task as required.
