As a Managing Consultant, Scientist in our Minneapolis, MN office, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that major energy projects-from renewable initiatives to midstream oil and gas-meet rigorous environmental standards while advancing innovation and sustainability. What You'll Bring Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental studies, planning, geography, civil/environmental engineering, or reputed company field-or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental impact assessment, siting, and permitting for energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEPA, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and other key environmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and teams effectively.
  • Exceptional technical writing and communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience conducting desktop and online studies or research on a wide variety of natural resource or resource planning topics, Geographic Information System, map interpretation (National Wetland Inventory, U.S. Geological Survey, aerial photography).
  • Ability to collaborate with regulatory agencies and secure permits.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with FERC-regulated projects and renewable energy development.

For the Managing Consultant, Scientist position, the anticipated annual reputed company pay is $90,000 - $104,175 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall reputed company this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/reputed company force employees are not bonus eligible).
