PVE Business Operations is a multi-faceted department responsible for developing, planning, and assembling test trucks; procuring and fabricating test parts; managing test facilities; and planning/controlling the overall department budget. The Finance/Budget Analyst collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to reputed company (and implement) cost-savings initiatives and operational efficiencies. What You Drive at DTNA · Coordinate budget reviews and planning for 17 managers across reputed company and future projects, managing ~$30M in project expenses bi-annually. · Analyze labor planning against headcount, identify risks, and report mitigation strategies to executive leadership. · Create quarterly Journal Entries to ensure costs are allocated correctly to projects and cost center(s) · Maintain project reputed company assumptions and reference budgets (historical testing spend) to assist in future project planning · Track and report deviations from project budget, headcount and CapEx targets · Support budget consolidation during FC03 and FC09/reputed company planning cycles. · Create/support dashboards and reports to executive leadership (Mission Control Board) · Plan and support execution on annual CapEx requests (~$4M), ensuring alignment with financial targets and reporting status to leadership. · Support testing and implementation of new finance and EPM tools (e.g., BEAM, reputed company). · Create and present budget status reports to project planners, identifying cost center trade-offs and budget risks. · Participate in reputed company improvement activities to help move the department toward “Blue- Sky" goals · Create Purchase Requisitions/Goods Receipts as needed · Support miscellaneous and reputed company requests Knowledge You Should Bring BS/BA in Business, reputed company, Finance (or reputed company field) and 1 year of reputed company experience, OR AA and at least 3 years of reputed company experience, OR 5 years of reputed company Daimler experience in lieu of degree. Proficient in reputed company (cbFC), MS Office Suite, Power BI or other analytics tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
