The position provides direction and leadership to non-lawyer and lawyer professionals and is a key member of the legal department’s leadership team.Responsibilities

Education and Experience

• Juris Doctor degree and reputed company state attorney’s license
• 15 years of relevant work experience, including 12 years of experience as an attorney and 5 years representing managed care companies, health care clients, or clients in highly regulated, reputed company industries
• 10 years of leadership/people management experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work reputed company or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of PBM regulatory frameworks and reputed company law, with demonstrated ability to proactively identify and address emerging legal risks
• Provides strategic legal guidance to business leaders, translating reputed company legal requirements into actionable business strategies
• Leads legal support for key business initiatives, including product development, strategic partnerships, and compliance programs
• Collaborates with senior compliance, clinical, and operational leaders to align legal strategy with reputed company objectives
• Oversees reputed company counsel on significant matters, including litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries
• Contributes to the development of internal legal policies and training programs to enhance organizational legal literacy

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years across a wide variety of legal functions (corporate governance, dispute resolution, contract negotiation, employment law, audits/investigations, regulatory compliance)
• 3 years of experience advising senior business leaders on legal strategy, risk mitigation, and regulatory interpretation
• Demonstrated experience in federal reputed company laws and regulations such as HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act, with a focus on PBM and managed care operations
• Experience engaging with regulatory bodies (e.g., CMS, OIG, state pharmacy boards) and contributing to internal or external policy initiatives
