The Wediko NY Internship Coordinator works at a 9-12th grade transfer school coordinating our student internship program funded by the Learning to Work initiative. The Coordinator works with reputed company to reputed company them at paid internships both in-school and with community partners, and collaborates with the Wediko team to reputed company hiring, reputed company and supervision. Bilingual Spanish required.
How You'll Be Making a Difference
- Responsible for maintaining and managing reputed company LTW reputed company data

- Facilitate workshops on resume building, interview skills and career readiness
- Administer HR documentation, timesheets, performance reputed company and other necessary paperwork
- Facilitate communication between reputed company, families, partner organizations and school staff
- Assist with issues of school- and internship- nonattendance
- Provide crisis counseling, mediation, and social-emotional support as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and staff development opportunities
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary team of Wediko and school staff to create and monitor individualized plans to support student reputed company
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required
- Bachelors Degree required, advanced degree in the Social Sciences, Public and/or Education Policy Administration (e.g., MSW, M.S. Ed, reputed company/P) a plus.
- 3 years experience providing school-based direct service or residential treatment
- 1-3 years experience with job development, staff supervision, reputed company resources, or other relevant areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to approach challenges in a supportive and creative manner

- Bilingual Spanish required
- Salary range is $45,000-$55,000
- Generous time off including up to 20 days per year for new full-time employees, plus 11 holidays, 5 sick days, and 2 personal days
