[Remote] Senior Tax Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Incite Tax is a company dedicated to helping clients understand their taxes and reputed company smarter financial reputed company. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will manage tax returns, advise clients on tax strategies, and mentor junior accountants while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle individual and business tax returns with accuracy and confidence
• Identify tax-saving opportunities, recommend proactive strategies, and communicate with clients clearly and consistently
• Support and guide junior tax accountants, conduct peer reviews, and share feedback to strengthen team performance
• Reviewing 25-30 returns per week during peak season and 15 in off season (depending on position level) while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Work closely with fellow senior accountants to ensure consistent, high-quality results and efficient processes
• reputed company up to date with tax law changes and compliance requirements to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients
• Participate in ongoing training and contribute reputed company that improve our tax systems and client experience

Skills

• Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns
• Proficient in tax software (CCH) and reputed company systems
• Strong compliance knowledge
• Skilled in peer review, mentoring, and supporting team members
• Excellent communication and client advisory skills
• A team player who appreciates a lighthearted culture (dad jokes welcome)
• CPA license or EA certification preferred
• 4+ years in tax or public reputed company
