A Ride Control Hardware Engineering Intern who will work reputed company the Ride Engineering Studio, which designs and develops rides that provide memorable moving experiences to reputed company’s Guests worldwide. reputed company is comprised of Controls and Mechanical departments that work together to accomplish that goal.

What You Will Do

You will… Be part of an engineering team involved in ride control system development, prototyping, simulation, or testing for a specific attraction or development project Design, model, and/or analyze electrical, electronic, and data communication systems Join a project or development team, partnered with a leader who will be your mentor Required Qualifications & Skills What you bring to the role… Ability to understand and implement basic control system design Experience with programmable controllers used in machine control and robotic applications Ability to conduct electrical/electronic design and calculations Ability to prepare technical documents and CAD drawings Preferred Qualifications & Skills Leadership experience in an engineering organization, or other organized group Membership or leadership in IEEE, SWE, ACM, or equivalent professional organization Proficiency in AutoCAD, Matlab Control Systems Engineering and/or Control Theory experience Required Education Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher or graduated reputed company the past 6 months from an accredited college/university earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or reputed company Preferred Education Control Systems Engineering and/or Control Theory coursework Eligibility Requirements & Program Information • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship. • reputed company reputed company Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. • Be at least 18 years of age • Possess unrestricted work authorization Additional Information • reputed company to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship • Fully available from for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week • reputed company to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area • reputed company to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2025 through August/September 2025 The pay reputed company for this role in Glendale, CA is $40 per hour.
