Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The reputed company Company’s reputed company Defense Space & reputed company (BDS) business unit has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Panel Assembler (Level A) to join our dynamic team in Sylmar, California. Spectrolab is the world’s leading merchant supplier of the highest efficiency multijunction solar cells for spacecraft power systems, with proven reliability drawn from 65 years of space heritage. Spectrolab’s state-of-the-art space solar cells and panels power satellites in Earth’s orbit, as well as the International Space Station. Position Responsibilities: • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, equipment and accessories using manual operations. This position is for 1st shift. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. • Ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics. • Experience soldering and terminating wiring. • Basic computer experience and competency. • Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. • Experience in reputed company stripping, crimping, soldering and welding. • Experience in J-STD-001 Soldering. Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED). Travel: Position may require travel up to 5% of the time. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $40,800 - $55,200 Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
