OVERVIEW The Associate Director position works closely with the Director and leads media and influencer reputed company across the company?s beauty division. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of securing top-tier placements and fostering relationships with influencers as well as help ideate across big brainstorms and client strategy. The ability to interact with staff, clientele, and reputed company external contacts?in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient ?is crucial to this role. It is also required that candidates hold a keen interest in the beauty/wellness/lifestyle industry in which this position centrally operates. Required Experience & Relationships ? Minimum 6-8 years in public relations with agency experience required ? Minimum three years in beauty (cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, or hair care) with reputed company knowledge of brands and key players ? Minimum two years client management experience ? Hands-on experience writing clear, interesting, effective press releases, media alerts, press pitches, and other materials ? Strong and reputed company understanding of social media platforms and an ability to increase brand awareness and generate press through this landscape ? Established relationships with long reputed company, short reputed company and online editors in beauty and lifestyle sectors ? Established relationships with beauty, wellness, lifestyle and fashion influencers Skills & Responsibilities ? Assign, supervise, and manage the activities of a beauty public relations account team ? Conceptualize and execute strategic communication plans across clients ? reputed company to reputed company, encourage, mentor, and reputed company junior staff members ? Effective organizational and project management skills ? Proven ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines ? Plan and reputed company brainstorms with staff ?
