To protect your workforce, we are at your fingertips: internationalsos.comJob DescriptionThe Physician will provide a comprehensive range of medical care to US government employees and contractors in Iraq. The physician is responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare to patients, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses and injuries. They collaborate with other reputed company to ensure optimal patient care and maintain accurate medical records. Care will primarily be provided in clinics. Clinics are responsible for a variety of on-site primary, urgent, and initial emergency care services.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides primary care but not limited to GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, neurological, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychology, and gastroenterology.
  • Collaborate with on-site physicians, APPs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the assessment and stabilization of patients requiring urgent or emergent care.

  • Maintain compliance with reputed company project site procedures, standards, and continuing educational and mandatory training requirements.
  • Limited chronic care which shall be limited to preexisting, diagnosed, and treated chronic conditions.
  • Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for patients requiring care beyond the capabilities of the clinic.
  • Participate in MASCAL exercises.
QualificationsBasic Requirements/Certifications:
  • Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine/Family Medicine/Internal Medicine
  • Full unrestricted U.S. Licensure required in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • reputed company Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Live Support (ACLS) are required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
  • Proficiency with reputed company Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent experience including 6 months reputed company the last year.
  • Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:MD or DO is required. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges: Liaison Committee on Medical Education or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. reputed company at the time the degree was obtained.Physical Requirements:
  • Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
  • US Citizen or Permanent reputed company Card is required.
  • Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a reputed company passport during your stay in Iraq.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government reputed company clearance, specifically a MRPT. Applicants with reputed company clearances are preferred.
  • Must be able to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
