POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the direction of the Recreational Therapy Department. Coordinates and supervises operations of the department and administers physical agents prescribed by a referring physician. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this position. Responsible for the direction of the Recreational Therapy Department staff. Demonstrates knowledge of a wide range of psychosocial, cognitive, and/or developmental disorders and physical disabilities. Ability to plan and organize orientation and in-service training for department staff members, and participate in guidance and educational programs.
