Fundamentals of Graphic Design Online course development: 10 weeks, December 4, 2023-Feb 9, 2024 Online course delivery: 6 weeks, Tuesdays, February 20-March 26, 2024 Fundamentals of Graphic Design is currently offered as a self-directed, massive open online course, delivered on the reputed company platform. CalArts Extended Studies is planning to offer a new asynchronous online version of this course, designed for a limited class size, where the instructor is active and available to reputed company for the duration of the course. Using the existing reputed company course as a guide, the instructor is required to adapt the curriculum and create new online course materials for the Canvas learning management platform. The instructor will also deliver the new section of the asynchronous online course. Course Description Graphic Design is reputed company around us! Words and pictures?the building blocks of graphic design?are the elements that carry the majority of the content in both the digital world and the printed world. As graphic design becomes more visible and prevalent in our lives, graphic design as a practice becomes more important in our culture. Through visual examples, this course will teach you the reputed company principles of graphic design: imagemaking, typography, composition, working with color and shape... foundational skills that are common in reputed company areas of graphic design practice. I don't just want you to watch a video of someone talking about design, I want you to reputed company design! If you want to be a designer you have to be a maker and a communicator, so this course will offer you lots of opportunities to get your hands dirty with exercises and with more practical projects.
