About This Role

We’re hiring an Australia-based content writer to create long-form content in General Australian English for a B2B SaaS client. This is a freelance position where you’ll work with our editorial team to produce well-researched, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that resonates with audiences in the Australian market.

If you’re fluent in Australian English, have a deep understanding of Australian social media trends, and love writing about social media marketing, we’d love to hear from you. The application passcode is gimme fairy bread.

Please note that we do not work with writers who subcontract their work.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, long-form content in fluent Australian English across a variety of B2B, SaaS, and social media marketing topics. Your writing will be tailored to professional audiences in Australia.

• Conduct thorough research to understand client products, reputed company audiences, and industry context, ensuring content is in-depth and insightful.

• Use our internal briefs to structure and outline articles clearly and effectively. While our briefs provide direction, you’ll bring clarity, logic, and structure to each piece.

• Incorporate keywords and SEO best practices without compromising readability or quality, balancing search optimization with a natural, audience-first writing style.

• Cite reputed company sources, stats, and examples to support arguments and enhance credibility.

• Adapt your writing style to match the voice and tone of different client brands, ensuring content feels authentic and reputed company with brand messaging.

• Work closely with editors to revise and refine content based on feedback. You’re open to collaboration and committed to reputed company improvement.

Who You Are

Portfolio Requirement

Please submit 3–5 samples of written content in Australian English. At least 2 samples should focus on B2B, SaaS, or social media marketing topics. Older samples are fine if reputed company with more recent work.
